Many Americans have to go through multiple interview rounds on their job hunt only to be ghosted, perform unpaid labor, or be dismissed from the job process entirely by a company.
The Gig Economy Boom
Companies are being exposed for using their hiring process to data mine and lie to investors about company expansion. At the same time, these companies are overworking their current employees by refusing to hire staff, train, and promote their employees to the next level with adequate pay. Some even result in false promotions with vague titles and more responsibilities attached to these roles with meager pay.
This has caused widespread burnout that peaked during the pandemic and led to people leaving corporate America en masse with the phenomenon of “quiet quitting” and starting new careers in the gig economy by licensing their skills to smaller agencies as freelancers or packaging their knowledge as content creators publishing digital products such as courses, ebooks, workbooks, planners, consultations, etc.
C-suite executives of these corporations decided to “wait it out” and responded to quiet quitting and the resurgence of the gig economy by gouging prices on necessities, establishing new solutions to improve quality of life through health and wellness (i.e. natural hormone balancing, hydration solutions, etc) by creating pricey subscription-based business models instead of seeking government contracts to subsidize these wellness resources that the working class could direly benefit from.
The global pandemic greatly impacted public health; leaving many disabled or with more progressed disabilities from multiple covid infections. Many countries have made vast improvements to re-establish a better quality of living by prioritizing vaccines, herbal remedies, and access to healthy foods in grocery stores. In America, there is a lack of urgency to improve overall public health by prioritizing tax dollars into other endeavors that are not in the best interest of American citizens, but that of the billionaires, corporations, and illegal occupations happening overseas.

Despite companies saying they don’t discriminate against disabled people, I’ve been ghosted or denied jobs in both minimum wage and marketing roles because of my several disabilities, which keep progressing the older I get. I started online entrepreneurship fairly young around 17, and unfortunately (or fortunately?) had to stay an entrepreneur because of the income limitations of disability insurance and the rising costs of living.
My 11 years of marketing experience often get overlooked in the application process all because of something I can’t control even with good providers and health insurance coverage.
My life’s work is committed to using my personal experience as a disabled entrepreneur and my 11+ years of marketing experience to help you optimize your life by diversifying your income streams, healing your gut, and regulating your nervous systems with ancestral spirituality.
You and I probably align on this – being burnt out from corporate America, your job, or the stress of fighting to survive with the rising cost of living is not how you want to experience reality. Adding to the equation being neurodivergent or experiencing long COVID or both simultaneously. It’s unsustainable to survive with only a sole income earner for oneself let alone a family.
As a marketer, I’ve been able to use my abilities of keen in-depth research and spiritual alignment practices to help people make money and create a living for themselves that can sustain their families and work towards building a legacy to pass down to their families.

One of my first clients was my boss, Latonia Francois of Let’s Write Life.
She was trying to figure out how to align the mindful practice of journaling as a way to cope with mental illness or healing from grief. While some locals thought I was a precocious 19-year-old with a high school diploma, I saw the patterns from Latonia’s business records and was able to show her how to adjust her messaging and strengthen her existing business model by streamlining her workflow. In 2017, my mentor told me that she wouldn’t make it past her fifth year. She’s still in business to this day.

My first Shopify client, Zangar Freeman of ZMakesBeads made authentic bespoke handmade African beaded and crystal jewelry and wanted to figure out how to start selling his pieces.
We started with a Shopify launch audit hopped on Zoom and designed their logo, packaging, and website in 6 hours. They continued working on their website and launched 2 weeks later in September 2018 to an email list of 72 customers.
Since 2020, His business has consistently sold out his inventory at every pop-up event that he would host, sold wholesale orders to cultural groups like anime fans and crump dancers, and hosted bead therapy workshops at libraries and art museums.
